About the Graduate Management Trainee Programme

The OMS Graduate Management Trainee Programme is designed to develop future industry leaders through structured learning, rotational departmental exposure, and hands-on field experience. Trainees will work closely with experienced professionals, gain technical and operational insights, and contribute to real projects that drive company performance.

Available Trainee Tracks

OMS is recruiting Graduate Trainees into the following areas:

  • ICT

  • Engineering

  • Supply Chain

  • Administration

  • Marine Operations

Key Responsibilities

Trainees will:

  • Support daily departmental operations within their assigned track

  • Participate in structured training and real-time field assignments

  • Work with senior staff on planning, research, and reporting

  • Conduct analysis and provide insights to improve operational workflows

  • Rotate across departments to gain a full understanding of OMS operations

  • Contribute to ongoing projects and process improvement initiatives

  • Prepare reports, presentations, and other documentation

  • Ensure adherence to OMS safety standards and operational procedures

Eligibility Requirements

To qualify, candidates must have:

  • A BSc degree in a relevant field

  • Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills

  • A maximum of 2 years post-NYSC work experience

  • A willingness to learn, adapt, and grow in a fast-paced environment

Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers State, Nigeria
