Programme Overview

The GIL Automation Graduate Trainee Scheme is designed to develop young engineering talents by providing hands-on technical exposure, structured learning, and practical industry experience. Successful candidates will work alongside experienced professionals and gain the skills required to build a solid career in automation and industrial engineering.

Available Positions

Qualified candidates may apply for graduate trainee roles in the following engineering disciplines:

  • Electrical Engineering

  • Mechanical Engineering

  • Mechatronics Engineering

Educational Requirements

Applicants must meet the following academic criteria:

  • B.Sc or HND in Engineering or a closely related discipline

  • Minimum of Second Class Upper Division (2:1) for B.Sc holders

  • Minimum of Upper Credit for HND holders

General Requirements

To be eligible, candidates must:

  • Not be more than 27 years old at the time of application

  • Have completed the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC)

  • Demonstrate strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills

  • Possess excellent communication and teamwork abilities

  • Be adaptable, willing to learn, and open to new challenges

  • Show passion for innovation and engineering-driven solutions
